Our new pencil cases! Sho cute lar!
I feel like a taitai with 2 large Club Marc bags. Lol!
Saturday was drinking date with Alex, Zee, Maddie, Mabel, Germaine and her bf! And JH came with me too! We kinda had a big quarrel over it but in the end, he still came with me. Thank you soo much for the effort to talk to my friends. I really appreciate it. =))
Vintage setting at ToastBox!
Yummy breakfast early in the morning.
The scenery is sooo pretty. Like we're in Bintan or something... I wish.
My arty-farty photography skills =))
Whee! There's like an island behind me.
All our jumping caused the tree to topple =X
Camwhoring is best done in the toilets!
After that was travelling back and meeting up with QQ for our singing session. Maybe it's the smoke, or the fact that we haven't been to that usual place for such a long time, the 3 of us were like, super duper high! We sang in chipmunk voices (even QQ! Zomg!) and did silly backup singing and screaming....dinner was at 85 market with Jy as well. Ordered mine and Jy's usual favs - barbequed stingray with rice, and chicken wings. Yumyum! Then they came over to my place to chat and rot and slack around and laugh at stupid videos.
The Hari Raya holiday was also spent with Maggie, Jy and QQ. We had a sleepover at my place! Watched some TV and talked all evening and finally, watch Lust.Caution...the uncut version! Ahhhhhh! We're practically watching porn lar. But we're like shielding our eyes during those evil scenes anyway. Lol! I think it was really bold for a Chinese film, and a little too slow-paced for me. But I guess I'm just not arty-farty enough to truly appreciate the film.
Maggie and I also did our first ushering job at Singapore Indoor Stadium and our first event was A*Mei's concert! The experience was not as bad as I thought it would be and we could really enjoy most parts of the concert anyway. But poor Maggie was assigned ticket collecting so she can't exactly sit and watch the concert like I did. All I can say is that it was really entertaining to watch, and A*Mei is seriously such a good performer. I had an urge to call QQ halfway to let him listen to her live and make him jealous. Lol! Hope our other events would be enjoyable as well.
Here's us in our uniforms. So usherlike. Ick!
Maggie, Jy and I met up to study on Friday and ended up going to 日本村again! Our sushi crave will never ever be satisfied...it's like a vicious cycle! As quoted from Maggie who quoted from me, "Emy: Sushi is the love of my life~ (poor jh.. Haha)"
Look at the amount of sushi! I'm hungry again =((
Maggie couldn't resist the fried food and still ate them, disregarding all her previous protest about how she's been sick for 3 weeks. Lol!
Sushi Lovers! I'm wondering why the 3 of us hardly take our pics together...
After an extremely filling dinner, we went to watch Eagle Eye. Wasn't too keen on the movie at first but it turned out really good. I really felt fear for the characters...The plot was quite elaborate and nicely planned out though some parts (or loopholes) puzzles me a little. Everything was just so clever (though some parts seemed a little too far-fetched) and some parts were really touching. I think Shia Labeouf looked so much better in Transformers, but he's still charming in his role though.
Movie marathon! I finally got to watch Painted Skin on Sunday with JH. Apparently, an old version of this adaptation from the Tales of LiaoZhai had really scared people to death so they stopped screening it. This version, however, focused more on the love between all the characters instead. Really nice and touching movie. I think the movie was a little too short though. Zhaowei is just so beautiful, even when she becomes a demon. I think her love is the greatest amongst the other characters and I really feel for her and the oppression and pain she had to go through just makes me pity her. Thank goodness things still turned out well for her...
A random pic of my yummy Fererro Rondnoir. Yum!
More updates when I find the time...if people even reads this... I always feel the urge to blog but it just gets procrastinated each time due to all the school work. Who said university life is slack? Sigh.
