Happy 1st Year Anniversary!!!

To JH that is. 28th July was our official 1st year together so we celebrated on Sun, 27th. I absolutely hate the fights and everything, but I'm still glad I met up with you and had enjoyed the day with you.

Gave him a little notebook which was both a card and favour coupons (which is so silly and stupid but he liked it, who cares? Hahahah!), made a lemon cheesecake (which tasted too lemony. To think i had to grate the lemon zest and squeeze the lemon like siao for more juice) and did it till 1am trying to decorate it nicely, and bought him his Puma cap, which I think is v nice...I want it for myself! Lol! Puma stuff are pretty~

It took me great pains to place the chocolate rice grain by grain to form the words kay??

Thursday had been my medical check-up at NUS...and I'm like damn scared. I'm dying!! Anyone wants to inherit anything, just leave a tag. I know there isn't much, but you guys might still want something in memory of me =(( Anyways, a BIG fat thank you to Maggie Mee for going with me...and accompanying me through the ordeal of a long train ride to the West (aka the Dark Side). But then again, I've been to SIM with you sooo many times too! I'm such a good friend, ain't I? Heehee...

After that was going to Bugis for shopping! Didn't mean to do any serious shopping but we ended with quite a fruitful trip. Lol! We got our long awaited leather cuffs! Punk eh, Maggie? I thought it was quite a good price too...or maybe it's because places like 77th street are overpriced. And I also bought my haversack! Woot! A totally unexpected buy because I've always wanted a black leather/cloth kind, but bought a patent one. But it was also at a much cheaper price so I'm quite happy with the buy. Next up would be a quest for my sneakers and Maggie's dunks. =))

We debated over Ajisen and Billy Bomber's for lunch and ended up at Crystal Jade (again!) for our all-time fav, Zha Jiang Mian and Xiao Long Bao! This time we also tried Beijing Shui Jiao which is officially an addition to our all-time favs. Lol! The meat filling is really good, better than the XLB's but XLB has got a nicer....skin? O_o

Went for my last tuition lesson with Trevor after that before my school starts...have to really arrange my timetable and manage my schedule well to fit Trevor and Jiajun in...plus ushering with Maggie at the Singapore Indoor Stadium if we do get the job, plus CCA if I do join. Thinking of joining pool!!! That is like super-cool since JH just thrashed me recently again... But I need company! Any NUSian (do they call themselves that??) interested?

The past days had been going down to NUS for registration and talks with Alex, SY and Denise. I'm glad I had Alex and SY for company during the long journey...I would just DIE if I had nobody but the morning sleepy crowd for company during such long, long quests to The Dark Side. Ohmytian! School starts (unofficially) already, seeing as we go there nearly everyday. Especially Thursday onwards when OWeek starts. Le Sigh. Call me a lazy bum, or an uncontented soul but my 7 months break seems too short all of a sudden. I have mixed feelings about school...

Anyways, meeting up with Alex and SY had been really fun. We tried out Kuishin-bo's buffet on Monday for dinner. There was snow crabs! And loads of good food and good sushi. SY loves their salmon (sashimi and/or grilled), Alex loves their tempura...I thought their teppanyaki was good too. Dessert had loads of cake and tarts and eclairs and donuts and traditional Jap stuff and even a small chocolate fountain! They also had like occassional "surprises" for the diners whenever they played their "Bombombom. Kuishin-bo. 123. We love Kuishin-bo" themesong. I find it hilarious, and watching the kiasu Singaporeans dash for the "surprises"...no wonder their gimmicks sell. We each paid 40+ after that though. =(( After we ate, we stayed there to digest and played abit of Daidee and Bridge too...then we started playing our version of "Truth or Truth". Played more "Would you rather" on the train back too, and laughed alot. Haven't had such talks with these guys for such a long time. It was a really nice night together!
